session for parents to learn what apps can help their child

 3.30pm Thursday 23 November
Parents!  Does your child experience difficulty with their reading, writing, spelling or maths?  Are you looking for suitable apps or websites to help them but don’t know where to start?  Or there seems to be so much out there and you have no idea which ones actually work? Or it all seems so expensive? Or you don’t know how to use computers and feel helpless to assist your child? Our learning support teacher Mrs Tiffany Calvert is running a session on assistive technology for the parents of students with learning difficulties at 3.30 pm on the afternoon of Thursday 23rd November.  The session will cover how parents can use technology to support your child’s learning in ways that are easy to do, are cheap or free, don’t take much time and are readily available.  The venue is the meeting room in the administration block. If you would like to attend please either call 47580666 or email for photocopying and catering purposes.  See you there!
