I hope you are all looking forward to our Jingle Mingle tomorrow night (weather permitting). The students from Prep to Yr 5 have been busy practising their performances and are looking forward to sharing them with you.
Gates will open at 5:00pm, which gives you time to come in and find a spot on the oval to watch the show. Remember to bring along a picnic blanket and/or some chairs to enjoy a night under the stars.
Performances will begin at 5:30pm
The order of performances is as follows:
* String Orchestra - Jingle Bells / 2nd Piece tbc
* P/1M & P/1S - All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth
* P/1J & P/1C - Go Santa Go (Wiggles)
* Yr 2 Cohort - Blitzen's Boogie
* CSS Singers (Aka choir) - Feliz Navidad
* Yr 3 Cohort - Jingle Bell Rock
* Yr 4 Cohort - Rocking Around the Christmas Tree
* Brass / Woodwind - TBC
* Yr 5 Cohort - Christmas Where the Gum Trees Grow
We ask that you keep your child with you to watch the performance. Jingle Mingle is a night of presenting student work and we want our kids to know they should watch the other students' perform as well. It also helps to make sure the students know when they need to come up to prepare for their performance.
I am watching the weather every day. We are concerned about two areas, one is if it is actually raining on the night and the other is if we get too much rain and the oval is too wet to make it a nice night. If either of these eventuate, we will send out a text message to all families and also put it on Facebook.
If we have to cancel, we will change up assembly on Friday 5 December to get all of our kids to perform their songs then.
