The Learning Connections Developmental Program is for all
children. It develops the child’s readiness for learning skills by
replicating early movement experiences that are required to
establish the building blocks or ‘wiring’ of the brain.
The aim is to promote the development of each child so that they
acquire all the neurological foundations necessary for effective
learning.
Children learn through their senses, especially vision,
hearing and touch. Most children have not completed their
neurological organization by the age of 5 years. A few children
need help before their visual and auditory systems can cope with
the stimulation of the classroom and many other children around
them.
Learning Connections
-  Enables children to gain coordination and confidence to
want to try new experiences and to think positively
regarding their capabilities
 - Reduces the frustration of the overactive child
 - Provides a more gradual process in the children’s
introduction to formal learning
 - Assists the children’s social interchange by making them
more aware of their own and other sensitivities
 - Assists children to develop strong gross motor skills which
directly influences their cognitive learning (reading and
writing)
 - Research in the Learning Connections School Program with Prep
children shows, among other things, a marked advancement to
school readiness in children participating in the program
