This page will connect you to your favourite authors and illustrators - you will be able to borrow their books from our library, and you may see other titles that you can request for our library.
Jack Heath
Jack Heath will be visiting Townsville in late March 2026 as part of the Australia Reads LitUp live literature. Jack writes for both adults and kids and we have some of his books in our library at Currajong. There will be a community event and because Pimlico SHS is the host school, they have invited Currajong SS and Mundingburra SS to be a part of the school events too! More information to come in 2026 but for now you may want to check out some of his books!
