All state schools in Queensland have a catchment area where they will draw the majority of their students from. Some schools are nearing capacity so they have an enrolment management plan in place to ensure that students who live in their catchment area are able to enrol in their school. Currajong State School does not currently have an enrolment management plan.
School catchment areas can be found on the Queensland Government's Edmap site - you can type in the name of a school or your own street address.
On the Edmap site, schools with enrolment management plans in place are highlighted. Parents and carers may find this a useful tool when considering where to enrol their child for secondary school.
