Our year 6 students graduate at the end of the year and head off to high school. There are a number of state high schools in the Townsville region and they coordinate a single transition day where year 6 students with a completed enrolment can attend their chosen state high school for the entire day. Each school plans their own program. This year the State High Schools Transition day will be Wednesday 3 December.
Parents/carers should ensure that all enrolment requirements have been completed by this date. Some schools will set their own close of enrolment date prior to this day.
We will provide available information for all state high schools in the Townsville region. Non-state high schools will set their own timelines and transition days.
