The Queensland Government's Back to school boost commences in Term 1 2026. This initiative is designed to help reduce school-related costs for every primary school student (Prep to Year 6) in Queensland.
A $100 credit will be placed on the account of every eligible primary school student from Term 1 2026 school year.
What does this look like at Currajong?
- Back to School Boost funds can be put towards excursions, camps and year 6 Graduation
- Unused funds at the end of 2026 can be rolled over to 2027 if remaining at Currajong SS
What can't I use it for?
- ANY purchase outside of the school - NO reimbursements for books or uniforms purchased in shops
- Any debts outstanding or items paid for from 2025 or earlier
- Outside School Hours Care or tuckshop - these services are provided by the P&C, not the school
