Today, a group of year 6 students travelled to Pimlico State High School to meet author Jack Heath along with students from Mundingburra State School. Jack spoke about his writing career and his numerous middle grade fiction books. He has also written a number of books for adults! Jack's visit was thanks to #litup and Ms Alice Manning - teacher librarian at Pimlico SHS. Currajong now has some additional copies of Jack's books so students can look out for them on the shelves from tomorrow! All students had to check under their chairs to see if they were a lucky seat winner! Two winners took home a set of the "Minutes of Danger" books!
