Friday night, 28 August is our Fete under the Stars. These events never just happen, it involves a team to pull them together and our fete committee for everything they are doing is working hard.

It is not too late to get involved. More helpers spread the work load.

We also rely on donations during this time. This includes:

  • Volunteers on the night - if you can help out, please let us know

    E:pandc@currajongss.eq.edu.au         P:0438 183 142

  • Volunteers during the day on Friday and/Saturday for set up and clean up

  • Lucky Buckets - Donations of non-perishable food (no spagetti or baked beans
please), and other items - gardening items, car washing, skin care items, house
cleaning, and other things that would be good in the lucky buckets - these items
    all need to be new.

  • Chocolates and soft drinks for the game stalls

  • Cakes and sweets for the Prep/Yr 1 Cake Stall

We will also be having a Cent Sale, so if you are a business owner or have any connections, any donations for this would be greatly appreciated.

We will not be finishing the night with a fire works display as in past years. Legislation and policy around the location of fireworks has become tighter and tighter over the years and we do not have sufficient space on the oval (our neighbours are too close), to have a fire works display.

Lead up activities:

  • Free Dress Day Friday 14 August - bring an item to help us fill up the Lucky Buckets - for our school Fete under the Stars which is only 2 weeks away. Donations of non-perishable food (no spaghetti or baked beans please), and other items - gardening items, car washing, skin care items, house cleaning, and other things that would be good in the lucky buckets - these items all need to be new. The more donations received the more prizes we will have to be won.
  • Pre-pay your ride tickets!
